WAN-WU: TEN THOUSAND THINGS OR BEINGS

Wan-wu Chin. , lit. “ten thousand things or beings”; a conventional expression descrip­tive of the totality of phenomena within the universe. Ten thousand here simply means “in­ numerable” or “all.”
