The creation of the body of light in toltequidad of mesoamerica
To achieve the creation of the body of light, Toltequidad explains that an alchemical transmutation process must be carried out with the energy located at the base of the spinal column. Through various psychophysical practices such as stable postures (semka) and movements (molini), hand gestures (machiomana), dance (mitotl), martial arts (yayaotl), breathing exercises (I´mati) to manipulate prana (tleyotl), and primarily through sexual practices (yontlapalli) aimed at merging masculine and feminine energies (sexual fluids), the “burnt water” (atlachinolli) is produced in the “vessel of the eagle” (kuau’shikalli) located at the base of the trunk. In other words, the activated energy or internal fire, when generated, rises like steam from water through the body, awakening the seven psychic centers or cuecueyos (kolotl, scorpion, iwitl, plumage, pantli, banner, shochitl, flower, topilli, staff, chalchiwitl, precious stone, and tekpatl, flint knife) from the base of the trunk until it exits through the crown, creating “the feather”: the luminous appendix that ultimately completes the creation of the body of light and leads to the awakening of spiritual consciousness and ultimately, the awareness of unity with the Absolute.
