Dashabhūmika (daśabhūmika), Skt., lit. “On the Ten Lands”; independent part of the Buddhāvatamsaka-sūtra in which the bodhisattva Vajragarbha, in Indra’s paradise and in the presence of the Buddha, explains the course of development of a bodhisattva (bhūmi). A commentary on the Dashabhūmika by Vasubandhu was the doctrinal basis of the Tin-lun school of early Chinese Buddhism.
